Ladylike touches

Hey readers, it's me again

First of all i'd like to apologize for my horrible grammar and spelling... i am someone who wants to convey a message quickly and directly without worrying about grammar, sentence structure ,punctuations and periods, commas and all that boring stuff...mmmkay......

and to those of you grammar and spelling Nazis out there who likes to dissect every sentence i write...then please go jump in the river and drown yourself.... :D

in this blog post i'll be talking about adding "ladylike" touches to your everyday looks.....

Before i got married , tight skirts , bustiers and hot pants were my daily uniform... lol... but after i have a son.. i feel the need to be more "refined".... i have altered the way i dressed without losing my unique style.....

So today's blog will be about how to feminize/refine your everyday look...

you don't need to toss out your whole wardrobe... you just need to mix and match a little differently :)

The key word is balance...
1)if you want to show one body part then cover the others...

EXAMPLE 1
if you decide to wear a figure hugging pencil skirt, then go for a blouse..

If you want to wear a bustier, then match em with a chic pantsuit/blazer
the same goes with tanktops or any body hugging outfits..

this rule of thumb will generally work for every outfit.. please refrain yourself from covering you body in head to toe baggy outfit... unless you want to look like a nun... with that said.. there is only 1 person i can think of who can dress from head to toe in baggy outfits and still look chic.... and that is... Olivia Palermo..

i don't know what the hell is wrong with this chick... she can combine the 2 ugliest colors (mustard and maroon??) and still look great... how bout the one at the bottom pic?? if anyone normal dress like that i don't think they can get away with it like she does...

sigh.. i admit it...

she's a freak of nature....

now let's move on...

2)adding a jacket/blazer/cover to an outfit... can instantly add a ladylike feel...

especially if you don't wear the jacket but kinda throw it over your shoulder.. like this
yes,. i know i'm using this olivia chick as an example again... but i really can't take my eyes off her... she's very hypnotizing... she;s got the art of layering hands down... and can pull off any look

there are many jackets/blazers that are interesting.. you don't have to settle with just a plain black one... experiment with fabrics and colors... such as leather, satin, silk ,sequined or tweed..

i'm sorry for these low res images...

2)choice of jewellery...

im so sorry ladies.. hoop earings ala j-lo (my love don't cost a thing era) is so out...

studs are in...

i especially love pearls
i love aishwarya.. isn't she divine???

you don't have to buy the real thing, you can buy cheap costume jewellery as long as it looks classy..

brooches also look nice on blazers....

3)the right bag is your best friend......

if you got some money saved up.. please don't buy guess or versace bags... they don't really withstand the test of time.....

if you can only buy 1 bag.... but the chanel bag...

black or beige will serve you till the end of time
(i'm so sorry for posting a pic of Kim Kardashian, i hate this chick)

4)wear full knee length skirts....
i've always loved this sillouete... i think it's so classy..
5) grow out your bangs...

the anime cut is so over... right now... long. lengthy..wavy layers like serena from gossip girl is so in...

anyways.. those are my fashion tips...

but then again.. those are merely my personal opinion.. i'm not a fashionista or anything...

but if at least one of u decide to try on new things because of this post then you've made my day =)

remember. always have fun with fashion... and if you commited a fashion faux pas.. then who cares? there's always tommorow....

love u all

xoxo
